पत्रिका स्पेशल: अक्सर हमारे जीवन में भागदौड़ हमेशा रहती हैं। और बिना चप्पल यह जूतों के एक कदम हम घर से बाहर नहीं निकल पाते है। लेकिन ऐसा ही एक बुजुर्ग हिमाचल प्रदेश के जिला बिलासपुर में है जो पिछले 50 वर्षों से बिना चप्पल या जूते तक नहीं पहनता है। और घर हो यह बाहर हमेशा नंगे पांव ही रहता है। जिला बिलासपुर के निवासी संतोष दास नैना देवी विधानसभा क्षेत्र के रहने वाले हैं जिनकी आयु करीब 90 साल से अधिकतम है। जोकि लोक निर्माण विभाग स्वारघाट में अपनी सेवाएं दे चुके हैं। उन्होंने पिछले 50 वर्षों से आज तक कभी भी जूते या चप्पल नहीं पहनी है।
घर हो या बाहर हमेशा नंगे पांव ही चलते हैं। इतना ही नहीं यह 90 वर्षीय बुजुर्ग बाजार वह अपने खेतों में काम करने के लिए भी नंगे पांव ही जाते हैं। बताया जा रहा है कि संतोष अक्सर जरूरी सामान खरीदने के लिए बिलासपुर बाजार जाते हैं जहां पर कुछ ऐसी दुकानें हैं जहां पर वह पिछले काफी समय से सामान लेते आ रहे हैं वहां के दुकानदारों के मुताबिक वह जब भी उनके दुकान में आता है तो नंगे पांव ही आता है। उन्होंने आज तक उसके पैरों में कभी चप्पल या जूते नहीं देखे हैं। उन्होंने अपने गांव में कबीर दास का मंदिर भी बनवाया है जहां पर बकायदा ग्रंथ भी रखे है। अक्सर वह अपना ज्यादा समय उसी ही मंदिर में बिताते हैं। 90 साल के संतोख दास नयनादेवी विधानसभा क्षेत्र के ज्योरीपत्तन के रहने वाले हैं। उन्होंने प्रण लिया है कि वह पूरी उम्र नंगे पांव रहेंगे। संतोख अकसर जरूरी सामान खरीदने के लिए बिलासपुर बाजार आते हैं।
