नई दिल्ली: देश में कोरोना महामारी के साथ एक और आफत आ गई है। देश में बर्ड फ्लू ने दस्तक दे दी है। पिछले दिनों राजस्थान, मध्यप्रदेश और केरल में पक्षियों की बर्ड फ्लू के चलते मौत हो गई थी और अब हिमाचल प्रदेश में 1700 से अधिक प्रवासी पक्षियों की मौत हो गई है। जानकारी के अनुसार, हिमाचल के कांगड़ा के पौंग झील में 1,775 से अधिक प्रवासी पक्षियों की मौत हो गई है। इन पक्षियों को बर्ड फ्लू से संक्रमित पाया गया है।

अधिकारियों के अनुसार, पक्षियों की बर्ड फ्लू से मौत सामने आने के बाद कांगड़ा जिला प्रशासन ने जिले के फतेहपुर, देहरा, जवाली और इंदौरा उप मंडल में मुर्गी, बत्तक और हर प्रजाति की मछली और उनके अंडे, मांस, चिकन आदि की ब्रिकी पर प्रतिबंध लगा दिया गया है। हिमाचल में मिले इन मृत पक्षियों के बाद जिला प्रशासन ने पौंग झील के एक किलोमीटर के दायरे में आने वाले क्षेत्र में अलर्ट जोन घोषित कर दिया गया है। इसके साथ ही पर्यटकों के आने-जाने पर भी प्रशासन ने इन क्षेत्रों में रोक लगा दी है।
जानकारी के हवाले से प्रधान मुख्य वन संरक्षक (वन्यजीव) अर्चना शर्मा ने कहा कि मरने वाले पक्षियों से नमूनों की जांच कराने के बाद इसकी रिपोर्ट में बर्ड फ्लू की पुष्टि हुई है। उन्होंने बताया कि उनके विभाग की तरफ से भोपाल स्थित नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट आफ हाई सिक्योरिटी एनिमल डीजीज से इस मामले में पुष्टि का इंतजार कर रहा है, क्योंकि इस बीमारी की जांच के लिये एक विशेष नोडल इकाई बनाई गई हैं।
