नई दिल्ली। तीन नए कृषि कानूनों के खिलाफ चल रहे किसानों के प्रदर्शन का आज 40वां दिन है। आज किसानों की सरकार के साथ 8वें राउंड की बातचीत दोपहर 2 बजे विज्ञान भवन में होगी। सरकार को उम्मीद है कि आज आंदोलन खत्म हो सकता है। वहीं किसान संगठनों ने कहा है कि सरकार ने मांगें नहीं मानी तो प्रदर्शन और तेज किया जाएगा। किसान नेता मनजीत सिंह राय ने कहा कि बातचीत का नतीजा नहीं निकला तो 13 जनवरी को कृषि कानूनों की कॉपी जलाकर लोहड़ी मनाएंगे।
भारतीय किसान यूनियन के प्रवक्ता राकेश टिकैत ने कहा कि आंदोलन के दौरान अब तक 60 किसानों की जान चा चुकी। हर 16 घंटे में एक किसान मर रहा है। सरकार की जवाबदेही बनती है। वहीं कृषि मंत्री नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर ने कहा है कि आशा से निकलेगा हल।

The government hopes that the movement can end today. Farmers’ organizations have said that if the government does not accept the demands, then the protest will be intensified. Farmer leader Manjit Singh Rai said that if the outcome of the negotiations did not come out, he would celebrate Lohri on January 13 by burning a copy of the agricultural laws. Indian Farmers Union spokesman Rakesh Tikait said that 60 farmers had lost their lives during the agitation so far. Every 16 hours a farmer is dying. Government accountability is created. At the same time, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has said that the solution will come out of hope.
